1Sa 4:3 C D T R K And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines [06430]? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.

1Sa 13:12 C D T R Therefore said I, The Philistines [06430] will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD : I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

1Sa 13:17 C D T R K And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines [06430] in three companies : one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual :
1Sa 13:19 C D T R K Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel : for the Philistines [06430] said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears :
1Sa 13:20 C D T K But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines [06430], to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.

1Sa 14:37 C D T R K And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines [06430]? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day.

1Sa 17:8 C D T R K And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine [06430], and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
1Sa 17:10 C D T R And the Philistine [06430] said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
1Sa 17:11 C D T R When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine [06430], they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
1Sa 17:16 C D T R And the Philistine [06430] drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
1Sa 17:19 C D T Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines [06430].
1Sa 17:21 C D T For Israel and the Philistines [06430] had put the battle in array, army against army.
1Sa 17:23 C D T And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine [06430] of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines [06430], and spake according to the same words : and David heard them.
1Sa 17:26 C D T R K And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine [06430], and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine [06430], that he should defy the armies of the living God?
1Sa 17:32 C D T R And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine [06430].
1Sa 17:33 C D T R And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine [06430] to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
1Sa 17:36 C D T R Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear : and this uncircumcised Philistine [06430] shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
1Sa 17:37 C D T R K David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine [06430]. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
1Sa 17:40 C D T R K And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand : and he drew near to the Philistine [06430].
1Sa 17:41 C D T And the Philistine [06430] came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
1Sa 17:42 C D T R K And when the Philistine [06430] looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
1Sa 17:43 C D T R And the Philistine [06430] said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine [06430] cursed David by his gods.
1Sa 17:44 C D T R And the Philistine [06430] said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
1Sa 17:45 C D T R K Then said David to the Philistine [06430], Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield : but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
1Sa 17:46 C D T R This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines [06430] this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1Sa 17:48 C D T R And it came to pass, when the Philistine [06430] arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine [06430].
1Sa 17:49 C D T R K And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine [06430] in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
1Sa 17:50 C D T R So David prevailed over the Philistine [06430] with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine [06430], and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
1Sa 17:51 C D T R K Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine [06430], and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines [06430] saw their champion was dead, they fled.
1Sa 17:52 C D T R K And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines [06430], until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines [06430] fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
1Sa 17:53 C D T R And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines [06430], and they spoiled their tents.
1Sa 17:54 C D T R K And David took the head of the Philistine [06430], and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
1Sa 17:55 C D T R K And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine [06430], he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.
1Sa 17:57 C D T And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine [06430], Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine [06430] in his hand.
1Sa 18:6 C D T R K And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine [06430], that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.
1Sa 18:17 C D T R K And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife : only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD'S battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines [06430] be upon him.
1Sa 18:21 C D T R K And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines [06430] may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
1Sa 18:25 C D T R K And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines [06430], to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines [06430].
1Sa 18:27 C D T R K Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines [06430] two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
1Sa 18:30 C D T R Then the princes of the Philistines [06430] went forth : and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.

1Sa 23:3 C D T R And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah : how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines [06430]?
1Sa 23:4 C D T R Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines [06430] into thine hand.
1Sa 23:5 C D T So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines [06430], and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
1Sa 23:27 C D T R But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines [06430] have invaded the land.
