Jud 12:6 King James Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.

Am 7:10 C D T R K Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying [0559], Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel : the land is not able to bear all his words.
Am 7:11 C D T R K For thus Amos saith [0559], Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

Am 7:14 C D T R K Then answered Amos, and said [0559] to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit :
Am 7:15 C D T R K And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said [0559] unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
Am 7:16 C D T R K Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD : Thou sayest [0559], Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
Am 7:17 C D T R K Therefore thus saith [0559] the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land : and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Am 9:1 C D T R K I saw the Lord standing upon the altar : and he said [0559], Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake : and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword : he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

Jon 1:11 C D T R K Then said [0559] they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
Jon 1:12 C D T R K And he said [0559] unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

Hag 2:12 C D T R K If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said [0559], No.
Hag 2:13 C D T R K Then said [0559] Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said [0559], It shall be unclean.
Hag 2:14 C D T R K Then answered Haggai, and said [0559], So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
