De 19:9 C D T R If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities [05892] more for thee, beside these three :
De 19:11 C D T R But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities [05892]:
De 19:12 C D T R Then the elders of his city [05892] shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.
De 20:10 C D T R K When thou comest nigh unto a city [05892] to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
De 20:14 C D T R But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city [05892], even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

De 20:19 C D T R K When thou shalt besiege a city [05892] a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege :
De 20:20 C D T R K Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city [05892] that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.
De 21:2 C D T R K Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities [05892] which are round about him that is slain :
De 21:3 C D T R K And it shall be, that the city [05892] which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city [05892] shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
De 21:4 C D T R K And the elders of that city [05892] shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley :
De 21:6 C D T R And all the elders of that city [05892], that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley :
De 21:19 C D T R Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city [05892], and unto the gate of his place;
De 21:20 C D T R And they shall say unto the elders of his city [05892], This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
De 21:21 C D T R And all the men of his city [05892] shall stone him with stones, that he die : so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
De 22:15 C D T Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city [05892] in the gate :
De 22:17 C D T And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city [05892].
De 22:18 C D T And the elders of that city [05892] shall take that man and chastise him;
De 22:21 C D T R Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city [05892] shall stone her with stones that she die : because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house : so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
De 22:23 C D T R If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city [05892], and lie with her;
De 22:24 C D T R Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city [05892], and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city [05892]; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife : so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
De 25:8 C D T R Then the elders of his city [05892] shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
De 28:3 C D T R Blessed shalt thou be in the city [05892], and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
De 28:16 C D T R Cursed shalt thou be in the city [05892], and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

Jos 6:4 C D T R And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns : and the seventh day ye shall compass the city [05892] seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
Jos 6:5 C D T R K And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city [05892] shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
Jos 6:7 C D T R K And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city [05892], and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.
Jos 6:11 C D T So the ark of the LORD compassed the city [05892], going about it once : and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
Jos 6:14 C D T R And the second day they compassed the city [05892] once, and returned into the camp : so they did six days.
Jos 6:15 C D T R K And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city [05892] after the same manner seven times : only on that day they compassed the city [05892] seven times.
Jos 6:16 C D T R K And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city [05892].
Jos 6:17 C D T R K And the city [05892] shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD : only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
Jos 6:20 C D T R K So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets : and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city [05892], every man straight before him, and they took the city [05892].
Jos 6:21 C D T R And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city [05892], both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
Jos 6:24 C D T R K And they burnt the city [05892] with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
Jos 6:26 C D T R K And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city [05892] Jericho : he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
Jos 8:1 C D T R K And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed : take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai : see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city [05892], and his land :
Jos 8:2 C D T R And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king : only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city [05892] behind it.
Jos 8:4 C D T R K And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city [05892], even behind the city [05892]: go not very far from the city [05892], but be ye all ready :
Jos 8:5 C D T R And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city [05892]: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,
Jos 8:6 C D T R (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city [05892]; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first : therefore we will flee before them.
Jos 8:7 C D T R Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city [05892]: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.
Jos 8:8 C D T R And it shall be, when ye have taken the city [05892], that ye shall set the city [05892] on fire : according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.
Jos 8:11 C D T K And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city [05892], and pitched on the north side of Ai : now there was a valley between them and Ai.
Jos 8:12 C D T R K And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city [05892].
Jos 8:13 C D T R K And when they had set the people, even all the host that was on the north of the city [05892], and their liers in wait on the west of the city [05892], Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.
Jos 8:14 C D T R K And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city [05892] went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city [05892].
Jos 8:16 C D T R And all the people that were in Ai [05892] were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city [05892].
Jos 8:17 C D T R K And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel, that went not out after Israel : and they left the city [05892] open, and pursued after Israel.
Jos 8:18 C D T R K And the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city [05892].
Jos 8:19 C D T And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand : and they entered into the city [05892], and took it, and hasted and set the city [05892] on fire.
Jos 8:20 C D T R And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city [05892] ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way : and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
Jos 8:21 C D T And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city [05892], and that the smoke of the city [05892] ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai.
Jos 8:22 C D T R And the other issued out of the city [05892] against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
Jos 8:27 C D T R Only the cattle and the spoil of that city [05892] Israel took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of the LORD which he commanded Joshua.
Jos 8:29 C D T R K And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide : and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city [05892], and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day.
Jos 9:17 C D T R K And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities [05892] on the third day. Now their cities [05892] were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.
Jos 10:2 C D T R K That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city [05892], as one of the royal cities [05892], and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty.
Jos 10:19 C D T R And stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities [05892]: for the LORD your God hath delivered them into your hand.
Jos 10:20 C D T R And it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities [05892].
Jos 10:37 C D T K And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities [05892] thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.
Jos 10:39 C D T R And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities [05892] thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining : as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.
Jos 11:12 C D T R And all the cities [05892] of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.
Jos 11:13 C D T R K But as for the cities [05892] that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.
Jos 11:14 C D T R And all the spoil of these cities [05892], and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
Jos 11:19 C D T R There was not a city [05892] that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon : all other they took in battle.
Jos 11:21 C D T R K And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel : Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities [05892].
Jos 13:9 C D T R From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city [05892] that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

Jos 13:17 C D T R Heshbon, and all her cities [05892] that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and Bethbaalmeon,
Jos 13:21 C D T R And all the cities [05892] of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
Jos 13:23 C D T And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities [05892] and the villages thereof.
Jos 13:25 C D T R And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities [05892] of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
Jos 13:28 C D T This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities [05892], and their villages.
Jos 13:30 C D T R And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities [05892]:
Jos 13:31 C D T R And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities [05892] of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
Jos 14:4 C D T R K For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim : therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities [05892] to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
Jos 14:12 C D T R K Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities [05892] were great and fenced : if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
