Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great : for the palace [01002] is not for man, but for the LORD God.

So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace [01002], to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

The posts went out, being hastened by the king's commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace [01002]. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
