Mr 11:27 | C D S R K | And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, |
Mr 11:28 | C D S R | And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? |
Mr 11:29 | C D S R | And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. |
Mr 11:30 | C D S R | The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me. |
Mr 11:31 | C D S R | And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? |
Mr 11:32 | C D S R | But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. |
Mr 11:33 | C D S R | And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. |

Mr 12:35 | C D S R K | And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David? |
Mr 12:36 | C D S R K | For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. |
Mr 12:37 | C D S R K | David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly. |
Mr 12:38 | C D S R K | And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, |
Mr 12:39 | C D S R K | And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: |
Mr 12:40 | C D S R K | Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. |
Mr 12:41 | C D S R K | And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. |
Mr 12:42 | C D S K | And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. |
Mr 12:43 | C D S R K | And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: |
Mr 12:44 | C D S R K | For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. |

Mr 14:49 | C D S R | I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled. |

Joh 5:14 | C D S R K | Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. |
Joh 5:15 | C D S R K | The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. |
Joh 5:16 | C D S R K | And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. |
Joh 5:17 | C D S R K | But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. |

Joh 7:14 | C D S R K | Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. |
Joh 7:15 | C D S R K | And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? |
Joh 7:16 | C D S R K | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. |
Joh 7:17 | C D S R K | If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. |
Joh 7:18 | C D S R K | He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
Joh 7:19 | C D S R K | Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? |
Joh 7:20 | C D S R K | The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? |
Joh 7:21 | C D S R K | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. |
Joh 7:22 | C D S R K | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. |
Joh 7:23 | C D S R K | If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? |
Joh 7:24 | C D S R K | Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. |
Joh 7:25 | C D S R K | Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? |
Joh 7:26 | C D S R K | But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? |
Joh 7:27 | C D S R K | Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. |
Joh 7:28 | C D S R K | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. |

Joh 8:1 | C D S R K | Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. |
Joh 8:2 | C D S R | And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. |
Joh 8:3 | C D S K | And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, |
Joh 8:4 | C D S K | They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. |
Joh 8:5 | C D S R K | Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? |
Joh 8:6 | C D S R K | This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. |
Joh 8:7 | C D S R K | So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. |
Joh 8:8 | C S K | And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. |
Joh 8:9 | C D S R K | And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. |
Joh 8:10 | C D S R K | When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? |
Joh 8:11 | C D S R K | She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. |
Joh 8:12 | C D S R K | Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. |
Joh 8:13 | C D S R K | The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. |
Joh 8:14 | C D S R K | Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. |
Joh 8:15 | C D S R K | Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. |
Joh 8:16 | C D S R K | And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. |
Joh 8:17 | C D S R K | It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. |
Joh 8:18 | C D S R K | I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. |
Joh 8:19 | C D S R K | Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. |
Joh 8:20 | C D S R K | These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. |
Joh 8:21 | C D S R K | Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. |
Joh 8:22 | C D S R K | Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. |
Joh 8:23 | C D S R K | And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. |
Joh 8:24 | C S R K | I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. |
Joh 8:25 | C D S R K | Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. |
Joh 8:26 | C D S R K | I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. |
Joh 8:27 | C D S R K | They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. |
Joh 8:28 | C D S R K | Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. |
Joh 8:29 | C D S R K | And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. |
Joh 8:30 | C S R K | As he spake these words, many believed on him. |
Joh 8:31 | C D S R K | Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; |
Joh 8:32 | C D S R K | And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. |
Joh 8:33 | C D S R K | They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? |
Joh 8:34 | C D S R K | Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. |
Joh 8:35 | C D S R K | And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. |
Joh 8:36 | C D S R K | If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. |
Joh 8:37 | C D S R K | I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. |
Joh 8:38 | C D S R K | I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. |
Joh 8:39 | C D S R K | They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. |
Joh 8:40 | C D S R K | But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. |
Joh 8:41 | C D S R K | Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. |
Joh 8:42 | C D S R K | Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. |
Joh 8:43 | C D S R K | Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. |
Joh 8:44 | C D S R K | Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. |
Joh 8:45 | C D S R K | And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. |
Joh 8:46 | C D S R K | Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? |
Joh 8:47 | C D S R K | He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. |
Joh 8:48 | C D S R K | Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? |
Joh 8:49 | C D S R K | Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. |
Joh 8:50 | C D S R K | And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. |
Joh 8:51 | C D S R K | Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. |
Joh 8:52 | C D S R K | Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. |
Joh 8:53 | C D S R K | Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? |
Joh 8:54 | C D S R K | Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: |
Joh 8:55 | C S R K | Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. |
Joh 8:56 | C D S R K | Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. |
Joh 8:57 | C D S K | Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? |
Joh 8:58 | C D S R K | Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. |
Joh 8:59 | C D S R K | Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. |

Joh 10:23 | C D S R K | And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. |
Joh 10:24 | C D S R K | Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. |
Joh 10:25 | C D S R K | Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. |
Joh 10:26 | C D S R K | But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. |
Joh 10:27 | C D S R K | My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: |
Joh 10:28 | C D S R K | And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. |
Joh 10:29 | C D S R K | My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. |
Joh 10:30 | C D S R K | I and my Father are one. |
Joh 10:31 | C D S R K | Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. |
Joh 10:32 | C D S R K | Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? |
Joh 10:33 | C D S R K | The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. |
Joh 10:34 | C D S R K | Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? |
Joh 10:35 | C D S R K | If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; |
Joh 10:36 | C D S R K | Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? |
Joh 10:37 | C D S R K | If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. |
Joh 10:38 | C D S R | But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. |

Joh 18:20 | C D S R K | Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. |
