Ex 20:2 C D S T R K I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. I `am' Jehovah thy God, who hath brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants.
Ex 20:3 C D S T R K Thou shalt have no other gods before me. `Thou hast no other Gods before Me.
Ex 20:4 C D S T R K Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: `Thou dost not make to thyself a graven image, or any likeness which `is' in the heavens above, or which `is' in the earth beneath, or which `is' in the waters under the earth.
Ex 20:5 C D S T R Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Thou dost not bow thyself to them, nor serve them: for I, Jehovah thy God, `am' a zealous God, charging iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third `generation', and on the fourth, of those hating Me,
Ex 20:6 C D S T R And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. and doing kindness to thousands, of those loving Me and keeping My commands.
Ex 20:7 C D S T R Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. `Thou dost not take up the name of Jehovah thy God for a vain thing, for Jehovah acquitteth not him who taketh up His name for a vain thing.
Ex 20:8 C D S T R K Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. `Remember the Sabbath-day to sanctify it;
Ex 20:9 C S T R Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: six days thou dost labour, and hast done all thy work,
Ex 20:10 C D S T R But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: and the seventh day `is' a Sabbath to Jehovah thy God; thou dost not do any work, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, thy man-servant, and thy handmaid, and thy cattle, and thy sojourner who is within thy gates, --
Ex 20:11 C D S T R For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. for six days hath Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that `is' in them, and resteth in the seventh day; therefore hath Jehovah blessed the Sabbath-day, and doth sanctify it.
Ex 20:12 C D S T R Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. `Honour thy father and thy mother, so that thy days are prolonged on the ground which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee.
Ex 20:13 C S T R Thou shalt not kill. `Thou dost not murder.
Ex 20:14 C D S T R Thou shalt not commit adultery. `Thou dost not commit adultery.
Ex 20:15 C S T R Thou shalt not steal. `Thou dost not steal.
Ex 20:16 C D S T R Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. `Thou dost not answer against thy neighbour a false testimony.
Ex 20:17 C D S T R Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. `Thou dost not desire the house of thy neighbour, thou dost not desire the wife of thy neighbour, or his man-servant, or his handmaid, or his ox, or his ass, or anything which `is' thy neighbour's.'

And all the people are seeing the voices, and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mount smoking; and the people see, and move, and stand afar off,
Ex 20:19 C D S T R K And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. and say unto Moses, `Speak thou with us, and we hear, and let not God speak with us, lest we die.'
Ex 20:20 C D S T R K And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. And Moses saith unto the people, `Fear not, for to try you hath God come, and in order that His fear may be before your faces -- that ye sin not.'
Ex 20:21 C D S T R And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. And the people stand afar off, and Moses hath drawn nigh unto the thick darkness where God `is'.
Ex 20:22 C D S T R K And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Thus dost thou say unto the sons of Israel: Ye -- ye have seen that from the heavens I have spoken with you;
Ex 20:23 C D S T R Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. ye do not make with Me gods of silver, even gods of gold ye do not make to yourselves.
Ex 20:24 C D S T R K An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. `An altar of earth thou dost make for Me, and thou hast sacrificed on it thy burnt-offerings and thy peace-offerings, thy flock and thy herd; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered I come in unto thee, and have blessed thee.
Ex 20:25 C D S T R K And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. `And if an altar of stones thou dost make to Me, thou dost not build them of hewn work; when thy tool thou hast waved over it, then thou dost pollute it;
Ex 20:26 C D S T R K Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. neither dost thou go up by steps on Mine altar, that thy nakedness be not revealed upon it.
