Ge 2:2 C D S T R K And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. and God completeth by the seventh day His work which He hath made, and ceaseth by the seventh day from all His work which He hath made.
Ge 2:3 C D S T R K And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. And God blesseth the seventh day, and sanctifieth it, for in it He hath ceased from all His work which God had prepared for making.
Ge 2:4 C D S T R K These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, These `are' births of the heavens and of the earth in their being prepared, in the day of Jehovah God's making earth and heavens;
Ge 2:5 C D S T R K And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. and no shrub of the field is yet in the earth, and no herb of the field yet sprouteth, for Jehovah God hath not rained upon the earth, and a man there is not to serve the ground,
Ge 2:6 C D S T But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. and a mist goeth up from the earth, and hath watered the whole face of the ground.
Ge 2:7 C D S T R K And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And Jehovah God formeth the man -- dust from the ground, and breatheth into his nostrils breath of life, and the man becometh a living creature.
Ge 2:8 C D S T R K And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And Jehovah God planteth a garden in Eden, at the east, and He setteth there the man whom He hath formed;
Ge 2:9 C D S T R K And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. and Jehovah God causeth to sprout from the ground every tree desirable for appearance, and good for food, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Ge 2:10 C D S T R And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. And a river is going out from Eden to water the garden, and from thence it is parted, and hath become four chief `rivers';
Ge 2:11 C D S T R The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; the name of the one `is' Pison, it `is' that which is surrounding the whole land of the Havilah where the gold `is',
Ge 2:12 C D S T R And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. and the gold of that land `is' good, there `is' the bdolach and the shoham stone;
Ge 2:13 C D S T R And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. and the name of the second river `is' Gibon, it `is' that which is surrounding the whole land of Cush;
Ge 2:14 C D S T R K And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. and the name of the third river `is' Hiddekel, it `is' that which is going east of Asshur; and the fourth river is Phrat.
Ge 2:15 C D S T R K And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And Jehovah God taketh the man, and causeth him to rest in the garden of Eden, to serve it, and to keep it.
Ge 2:16 C D S T R And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: And Jehovah God layeth a charge on the man, saying, `Of every tree of the garden eating thou dost eat;
Ge 2:17 C D S T R K But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it -- dying thou dost die.'
Ge 2:18 C D S T R K And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And Jehovah God saith, `Not good for the man to be alone, I do make to him an helper -- as his counterpart.'
Ge 2:19 C D S T R K And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Jehovah God formeth from the ground every beast of the field, and every fowl of the heavens, and bringeth in unto the man, to see what he doth call it; and whatever the man calleth a living creature, that `is' its name.
Ge 2:20 C D S T K And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the man calleth names to all the cattle, and to fowl of the heavens, and to every beast of the field; and to man hath not been found an helper -- as his counterpart.
Ge 2:21 C D S T R K And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And Jehovah God causeth a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he sleepeth, and He taketh one of his ribs, and closeth up flesh in its stead.
Ge 2:22 C D S T R And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Jehovah God buildeth up the rib which He hath taken out of the man into a woman, and bringeth her in unto the man;
Ge 2:23 C D S T R K And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. and the man saith, `This `is' the `proper' step! bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh!' for this it is called Woman, for from a man hath this been taken;
Ge 2:24 C D S T R K Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. therefore doth a man leave his father and his mother, and hath cleaved unto his wife, and they have become one flesh.
Ge 2:25 C D S T R K And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. And they are both of them naked, the man and his wife, and they are not ashamed of themselves.
