1Co 2:13 Strong Concordance Which things [3739] also [2532] we speak [2980], not [3756] in [1722] the words [3056] which man's [442] wisdom [4678] teacheth [1318], but [235] which the Holy [40] Ghost [4151] teacheth [1722] [1318]; comparing [4793] spiritual things [4152] with spiritual [4152].
King James Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

A Commentary, Critical, Practical, and Explanatory on the Old and New Testaments, by Robert Jamieson, A.R. Fausset and David Brown [1882]
also--We not only know by the Holy Ghost, but we also speak the "things freely given to us of God" (Co1 2:12).

which the Holy Ghost teacheth--The old manuscripts read "the Spirit" simply, without "Holy."

comparing spiritual things with spiritual--expounding the Spirit-inspired Old Testament Scripture, by comparison with the Gospel which Jesus by the same Spirit revealed [GROTIUS]; and conversely illustrating the Gospel mysteries by comparing them with the Old Testament types [CHRYSOSTOM]. So the Greek word is translated, "comparing" (Co2 10:12). WAHL (Key of the New Testament) translates, "explaining (as the Greek is translated, Gen 40:8, the Septuagint) to spiritual (that is, Spirit-taught) men, spiritual things (the things which we ourselves are taught by the Spirit)." Spirit-taught men alone can comprehend spiritual truths. This accords with Co1 2:6, Co1 2:9-10, Co1 2:14-15; Co1 3:1. ALFORD translates, "Putting together (combining) spirituals with spirituals"; that is, attaching spiritual words to spiritual things, which we should not do, if we were to use words of worldly wisdom to expound spiritual things (so Co1 2:1, Co1 2:4; Pe1 4:11). Perhaps the generality of the neuters is designed to comprehend these several notions by implication. Comparing, or combining, spirituals with spirituals; implying both that spiritual things are only suited to spiritual persons (so "things" comprehended persons, Co1 1:27), and also that spiritual truths can only be combined with spiritual (not worldly-wise) words; and lastly, spirituals of the Old and New Testaments can only be understood by mutual comparison or combination, not by combination with worldly "wisdom," or natural perceptions (Co1 1:21-22; Co1 2:1, Co1 2:4-9; compare Psa 119:18).

18 Open [01540] thou mine eyes [05869], that I may behold [05027] wondrous things [06381] out of thy law [08451].
4 And [2532] my [3450] speech [3056] and [2532] my [3450] preaching [2782] was not [3756] with [1722] enticing [3981] words [3056] of man's [442] wisdom [4678], but [235] in [1722] demonstration [585] of the Spirit [4151] and [2532] of power [1411]:
5 That [2443] your [5216] faith [4102] should [5600] not [3361] stand [5600] in [1722] the wisdom [4678] of men [444], but [235] in [1722] the power [1411] of God [2316].
6 Howbeit [1161] we speak [2980] wisdom [4678] among [1722] them that are perfect [5046]: yet [1161] not [3756] the wisdom [4678] of this [5127] world [165], nor [3761] of the princes [758] of this [5127] world [165], that come to nought [2673]:
7 But [235] we speak [2980] the wisdom [4678] of God [2316] in [1722] a mystery [3466], even the hidden [613] wisdom, which [3739] God [2316] ordained [4309] before [4253] the world [165] unto [1519] our [2257] glory [1391]:
8 Which [3739] none [3762] of the princes [758] of this [5127] world [165] knew [1097]: for [1487] [1063] had they known [1097] it, they [302] would [4717] not [3756] have crucified [4717] the Lord [2962] of glory [1391].
9 But [235] as [2531] it is written [1125], [3739] Eye [3788] hath [1492] not [3756] seen [1492], nor [2532] [3756] ear [3775] heard [191], neither [2532] [3756] have entered [305] into [1909] the heart [2588] of man [444], the things which [3739] God [2316] hath prepared [2090] for them that love [25] him [846].
1 And I [2504], brethren [80], when I came [2064] to [4314] you [5209], came [2064] not [3756] with [2596] excellency [5247] of speech [3056] or [2228] of wisdom [4678], declaring [2605] unto you [5213] the testimony [3142] of God [2316].
21 For [1063] after [1894] that in [1722] the wisdom [4678] of God [2316] the world [2889] by [1223] wisdom [4678] knew [1097] not [3756] God [2316], it pleased [2106] God [2316] by [1223] the foolishness [3472] of preaching [2782] to save [4982] them that believe [4100].
22 For [2532] [1894] the Jews [2453] require [154] a sign [4592], and [2532] the Greeks [1672] seek [2212] after wisdom [4678]:
27 But [235] God [2316] hath chosen [1586] the foolish things [3474] of the world [2889] to [2443] confound [2617] the wise [4680]; and [2532] God [2316] hath chosen [1586] the weak things [772] of the world [2889] to [2443] confound [2617] the things which are mighty [2478];
11 If any man [1536] speak [2980], let him speak as [5613] the oracles [3051] of God [2316]; if any man [1536] minister [1247], let him do it as [5613] of [1537] the ability [2479] which [3739] God [2316] giveth [5524]: that [2443] God [2316] in [1722] all things [3956] may be glorified [1392] through [1223] Jesus [2424] Christ [5547], to whom [3739] be [2076] praise [1391] and [2532] dominion [2904] for [1519] ever [165] and ever [165]. Amen [281].
1 And I [2504], brethren [80], when I came [2064] to [4314] you [5209], came [2064] not [3756] with [2596] excellency [5247] of speech [3056] or [2228] of wisdom [4678], declaring [2605] unto you [5213] the testimony [3142] of God [2316].
1 And [2532] I [1473], brethren [80], could [1410] not [3756] speak [2980] unto you [5213] as [5613] unto spiritual [4152], but [235] as [5613] unto carnal [4559], even as [5613] unto babes [3516] in [1722] Christ [5547].
14 But [1161] the natural [5591] man [444] receiveth [1209] not [3756] the things [3588] of the Spirit [4151] of God [2316]: for [1063] they are [2076] foolishness [3472] unto him [846]: neither [2532] [3756] can [1410] he know [1097] them, because [3754] they are spiritually [4153] discerned [350].
15 But [1161] he that is spiritual [4152] judgeth [350] [3303] all things [3956], yet [1161] he himself [846] is judged [350] of [5259] no man [3762].
10 But [1161] God [2316] hath revealed [601] them unto us [2254] by [1223] his [846] Spirit [4151]: for [1063] the Spirit [4151] searcheth [2045] all things [3956], yea [2532], the deep things [899] of God [2316].
8 And they said [0559] unto him, We have dreamed [02492] a dream [02472], and there is no interpreter [06622] of it. And Joseph [03130] said [0559] unto them, Do not interpretations [06623] belong to God [0430]? tell me [05608] them, I pray you.
12 For [1063] we dare [5111] not [3756] make [1469] ourselves of the number [1469], or [2228] compare [4793] ourselves [1438] with [4793] some [5100] that commend [4921] themselves [1438]: but [235] they [846] measuring [3354] themselves [1438] by [1722] themselves [1438], and [2532] comparing [4793] themselves [1438] among [4793] themselves [1438], are [4920] not [3756] wise [4920].
12 Now [1161] we [2249] have received [2983], not [3756] the spirit [4151] of the world [2889], but [235] the spirit [4151] which [3588] is of [1537] God [2316]; that [2443] we might know [1492] the things that are freely given [5483] to us [2254] of [5259] God [2316].
16 I came near [07127] unto [05922] one [02298] of [04481] them that stood by [06966], and asked [01156] him [04481] the truth [03330] of all [03606] this [01836]. So he told [0560] me, and made me know [03046] the interpretation [06591] of the things [04406].
20 But when his heart [03825] was lifted up [07313], and his mind [07308] hardened [08631] in pride [02103], he was deposed [05182] from [04481] his kingly [04437] throne [03764], and they took [05709] his glory [03367] from him [04481]:
18 O thou [0607] king [04430], the most high [05943] God [0426] gave [03052] Nebuchadnezzar [05020] thy father [02] a kingdom [04437], and majesty [07238], and glory [03367], and honour [01923]:
16 And I [0576] have heard [08086] of thee [05922], that thou canst [03202] make [06590] interpretations [06591], and dissolve [08271] doubts [07001]: now [03705] if [02006] thou canst [03202] read [07123] the writing [03792], and make known [03046] to me the interpretation [06591] thereof, thou shalt be clothed [03848] with scarlet [0711], and have a chain [02002] of gold [01722] about [05922] thy neck [06676], and shalt be the third [08531] ruler [07981] in the kingdom [04437].
13 Then [0116] was Daniel [01841] brought in [05954] before [06925] the king [04430]. And the king [04430] spake [06032] and said [0560] unto Daniel [01841], Art thou [0607] that Daniel [01841], which art of [04481] the children [01123] of the captivity [01547] of Judah [03061], whom the king [04430] my father [02] brought [0858] out of [04481] Jewry [03061]?
7 The king [04430] cried [07123] aloud [02429] to bring [05954] in the astrologers [0826], the Chaldeans [03779], and the soothsayers [01505]. And the king [04430] spake [06032], and said [0560] to the wise [02445] men of Babylon [0895], Whosoever [0606] [03606] shall read [07123] this [01836] writing [03792], and shew [02324] me the interpretation [06591] thereof, shall be clothed [03848] with scarlet [0711], and have a chain [02002] of gold [01722] about [05922] his neck [06676], and shall be the third [08523] ruler [07981] in the kingdom [04437].
8 Then [0116] came [05954] in all [03606] the king's [04430] wise [02445] men: but they could [03546] not [03809] read [07123] the writing [03792], nor make known [03046] to the king [04430] the interpretation [06591] thereof.
16 Let his heart [03825] be changed [08133] from [04481] man's [0606], and let a beast's [02423] heart [03825] be given [03052] unto him; and let seven [07655] times [05732] pass [02499] over [05922] him.
17 This matter [06600] is by the decree [01510] of the watchers [05894], and the demand [07595] by the word [03983] of the holy ones [06922]: to [05705] the intent [01701] that the living [02417] may know [03046] that the most High [05943] ruleth [07990] in the kingdom [04437] of men [0606], and giveth [05415] it to whomsoever [04479] he will [06634], and setteth up [06966] over [05922] it the basest [08215] of men [0606].
6 Therefore [04481] made [07761] I [04481] a decree [02942] to bring [05954] in all [03606] the wise [02445] men of Babylon [0895] before [06925] me, that they might make known [03046] unto me the interpretation [06591] of the dream [02493].
3 How [04101] great [07260] are his signs [0852]! and how [04101] mighty [08624] are his wonders [08540]! his kingdom [04437] is an everlasting [05957] kingdom [04437], and his dominion [07985] is from [05974] generation [01859] to generation [01859].
4 I [0576] Nebuchadnezzar [05020] was [01934] at rest [07954] in mine house [01005], and flourishing [07487] in my palace [01965]:
45 Forasmuch as [03606] [06903] thou sawest [02370] that the stone [069] was cut out [01505] of the mountain [02906] without [03809] hands [03028], and that it brake in pieces [01855] the iron [06523], the brass [05174], the clay [02635], the silver [03702], and the gold [01722]; the great [07229] God [0426] hath made known [03046] to the king [04430] what [04101] shall come to pass [01934] hereafter [0311] [01836]: and the dream [02493] is certain [03330], and the interpretation [06591] thereof sure [0540].
36 This [01836] is the dream [02493]; and we will tell [0560] the interpretation [06591] thereof before [06925] the king [04430].
30 But as for me [0576], this [01836] secret [07328] is not [03809] revealed [01541] to me for any wisdom [02452] that I have [0383] more than [04481] any [03606] living [02417], but [03861] for their sakes [01701] that [05922] shall make known [03046] the interpretation [06591] to the king [04430], and that thou mightest know [03046] the thoughts [07476] of thy heart [03825].
26 The king [04430] answered [06032] and said [0560] to Daniel [01841], whose name [08036] was Belteshazzar [01096], Art [0383] thou able [03546] to make known [03046] unto me the dream [02493] which I have seen [02370], and the interpretation [06591] thereof?
24 Therefore [03606] [06903] [01836] Daniel [01841] went in [05954] unto [05922] Arioch [0746], whom the king [04430] had ordained [04483] to destroy [07] the wise [02445] men of Babylon [0895]: he went [0236] and said [0560] thus [03652] unto him; Destroy [07] not [0409] the wise [02445] men of Babylon [0895]: bring me in [05954] before [06925] the king [04430], and I will shew [02324] unto the king [04430] the interpretation [06591].
16 Then Daniel [01841] went in [05954], and desired [01156] of [04481] the king [04430] that he would give [05415] him time [02166], and that he would shew [02324] the king [04430] the interpretation [06591].
9 But if [02006] ye will not [03809] make known [03046] unto me the dream [02493], there is but one [01932] [02298] decree [01882] for you: for ye have prepared [02164] lying [03538] and corrupt [07844] words [04406] to speak [0560] before [06925] me, till [05705] the time [05732] be changed [08133]: therefore [03861] tell [0560] me the dream [02493], and I shall know [03046] that [01768] ye can shew [02324] me the interpretation [06591] thereof.
4 Then spake [01696] the Chaldeans [03778] to the king [04428] in Syriack [0762], O king [04430], live [02418] for ever [05957]: tell [0560] thy servants [05649] the dream [02493], and we will shew [02324] the interpretation [06591].
5 The king [04430] answered [06032] and said [0560] to the Chaldeans [03779], The thing [04406] is gone [0230] from me [04481]: if [02006] ye will not [03809] make known [03046] unto me the dream [02493], with the interpretation [06591] thereof, ye shall be cut [05648] in pieces [01917], and your houses [01005] shall be made [07761] a dunghill [05122].
6 But if [02006] ye shew [02324] the dream [02493], and the interpretation [06591] thereof, ye shall receive [06902] of [04481] me [06925] gifts [04978] and rewards [05023] and great [07690] honour [03367]: therefore [03861] shew [02324] me the dream [02493], and the interpretation [06591] thereof.
7 They answered [06032] again [08579] and said [0560], Let the king [04430] tell [0560] his servants [05649] the dream [02493], and we will shew [02324] the interpretation [06591] of it.
17 Then [0116] Daniel [01841] answered [06032] and said [0560] before [06925] the king [04430], Let thy gifts [04978] be [01934] to thyself, and give [03052] thy rewards [05023] to another [0321]; yet [01297] I will read [07123] the writing [03792] unto the king [04430], and make known [03046] to him the interpretation [06591].
15 And Pharaoh [06547] said [0559] unto Joseph [03130], I have dreamed [02492] a dream [02472], and there is none that can interpret [06622] it: and I have heard [08085] say [0559] of thee, that thou canst understand [08085] a dream [02472] to interpret [06622] it.
12 And there was there with us a young man [05288], an Hebrew [05680], servant [05650] to the captain [08269] of the guard [02876]; and we told [05608] him, and he interpreted [06622] to us our dreams [02472]; to each man [0376] according to his dream [02472] he did interpret [06622].
22 But he hanged [08518] the chief [08269] baker [0644]: as Joseph [03130] had interpreted [06622] to them.
16 When the chief [08269] baker [0644] saw [07200] that the interpretation [06622] was good [02896], he said [0559] unto Joseph [03130], I also [0637] was in my dream [02472], and, behold, I had three [07969] white [02751] baskets [05536] on my head [07218]:
8 And they said [0559] unto him, We have dreamed [02492] a dream [02472], and there is no interpreter [06622] of it. And Joseph [03130] said [0559] unto them, Do not interpretations [06623] belong to God [0430]? tell me [05608] them, I pray you.
19 And [2532] if [1437] any man [5100] shall take away [851] from [575] the words [3056] of the book [976] of this [5129] prophecy [4394], God [2316] shall take away [851] his [846] part [3313] out of [575] the book [976] of life [2222], and [2532] out of [1537] the holy [40] city [4172], and [2532] from the things which are written [1125] in [1722] this [5026] book [975].
16 For [1063] who [5101] hath known [1097] the mind [3563] of the Lord [2962], that [3739] he may instruct [4822] him [846]? But [1161] we [2249] have [2192] the mind [3563] of Christ [5547].
15 But [1161] he that is spiritual [4152] judgeth [350] [3303] all things [3956], yet [1161] he himself [846] is judged [350] of [5259] no man [3762].
13 Which things [3739] also [2532] we speak [2980], not [3756] in [1722] the words [3056] which man's [442] wisdom [4678] teacheth [1318], but [235] which the Holy [40] Ghost [4151] teacheth [1722] [1318]; comparing [4793] spiritual things [4152] with spiritual [4152].
10 But [1161] God [2316] hath revealed [601] them unto us [2254] by [1223] his [846] Spirit [4151]: for [1063] the Spirit [4151] searcheth [2045] all things [3956], yea [2532], the deep things [899] of God [2316].
11 For [1063] what [5101] man [444] knoweth [1492] the things [3588] of a man [444], save [1508] the spirit [4151] of man [444] which [3588] is in [1722] him [846]? even [2532] so [3779] the things [3588] of God [2316] knoweth [1492] no man [3762], but [1508] the Spirit [4151] of God [2316].
31 Without understanding [801], covenantbreakers [802], without natural affection [794], implacable [786], unmerciful [415]:
29 Being filled with [4137] all [3956] unrighteousness [93], fornication [4202], wickedness [4189], covetousness [4124], maliciousness [2549]; full [3324] of envy [5355], murder [5408], debate [2054], deceit [1388], malignity [2550]; whisperers [5588],
