A Commentary, Critical, Practical, and Explanatory on the Old and New Testaments, by Robert Jamieson, A.R. Fausset and David Brown [1882]
En-gedi . . . En-eglaim--En-gedi (meaning "fountain of the kid"), anciently, Hazazon-Tamar, now Ain-Jidy; west of the Dead Sea; David's place of refuge from Saul. En-eglaim means "fountain of two calves," on the confines of Moab, over against En-gedi, and near where Jordan enters the Dead Sea (Isa 15:8). These two limits are fixed on, to comprise between them the whole Dead Sea.

fish . . . according to their kinds--JEROME quotes an ancient theory that "there are a hundred fifty-three kinds of fishes," all of which were taken by the apostles (Joh 21:11), and not one remained uncaptured; signifying that both the noble and baseborn, the rich and the poor, and every class, are being drawn out of the sea of the world to salvation. Compare Mat 13:47, the gospel net; the apostles being fishermen, at first literally, afterwards spiritually (Mat 4:19).

19 And [2532] he saith [3004] unto them [846], Follow [1205] [3694] me [3450], and [2532] I will make [4160] you [5209] fishers [231] of men [444].
47 Again [3825], the kingdom [932] of heaven [3772] is [2076] like [3664] unto a net [4522], that was cast [906] into [1519] the sea [2281], and [2532] gathered [4863] of [1537] every [3956] kind [1085]:
11 Simon [4613] Peter [4074] went up [305], and [2532] drew [1670] the net [1350] to [1909] land [1093] full [3324] of great [3173] fishes [2486], an hundred [1540] and fifty [4004] and three [5140]: and [2532] for all there were so many [5118], yet was [5607] not [3756] the net [1350] broken [4977].
8 For the cry [02201] is gone round about [05362] the borders [01366] of Moab [04124]; the howling [03215] thereof unto Eglaim [097], and the howling [03215] thereof unto Beerelim [0879].
9 Therefore, behold, I will open [06605] the side [03802] of Moab [04124] from the cities [05892], from his cities [05892] which are on his frontiers [07097], the glory [06643] of the country [0776], Bethjeshimoth [01020], Baalmeon [01186], and Kiriathaim [07156],
29 And David [01732] went up [05927] from thence, and dwelt [03427] in strong holds [04679] at Engedi [05872].
19 And [2532] he saith [3004] unto them [846], Follow [1205] [3694] me [3450], and [2532] I will make [4160] you [5209] fishers [231] of men [444].
