4 Then said [0559] Saul [07586] unto his armourbearer [05375] [03627], Draw [08025] thy sword [02719], and thrust me through [01856] therewith; lest these uncircumcised [06189] come [0935] and thrust me through [01856], and abuse [05953] me. But his armourbearer [05375] [03627] would [014] not; for he was sore [03966] afraid [03372]. Therefore Saul [07586] took [03947] a sword [02719], and fell [05307] upon it.
43 For [1063] they loved [25] the praise [1391] of men [444] more [3123] than [2260] the praise [1391] of God [2316].
22 These [5023] words spake [2036] his [846] parents [1118], because [3754] they feared [5399] the Jews [2453]: for [1063] the Jews [2453] had agreed [4934] already [2235], that [2443] if [1437] any man [5100] did confess [3670] that he [846] was Christ [5547], he should be [1096] put out of the synagogue [656].
25 The fear [02731] of man [0120] bringeth [05414] a snare [04170]: but whoso putteth his trust [0982] in the LORD [03068] shall be safe [07682].
11 Can the rush [01573] grow up [01342] without mire [01207]? can [07685] the flag [0260] grow [07685] without [01097] water [04325]?
10 For I heard [08085] the defaming [01681] of many [07227], fear [04032] on every side [05439]. Report [05046], say they, and we will report [05046] it. All my familiars [0582] [07965] watched [08104] for my halting [06763] [06761], saying, Peradventure he will be enticed [06601], and we shall prevail [03201] against him, and we shall take [03947] our revenge [05360] on him.
7 All the men [0582] of thy confederacy [01285] have brought [07971] thee even to the border [01366]: the men [0582] that were at peace [07965] with thee have deceived [05377] thee, and prevailed [03201] against thee; they that eat thy bread [03899] have laid [07760] a wound [04204] under thee: there is none understanding [08394] in him.
23 So they shall bring out [03318] all thy wives [0802] and thy children [01121] to the Chaldeans [03778]: and thou shalt not escape out [04422] of their hand [03027], but shalt be taken [08610] by the hand [03027] of the king [04428] of Babylon [0894]: and thou shalt cause this city [05892] to be burned [08313] with fire [0784].
22 And, behold, all the women [0802] that are left [07604] in the king [04428] of Judah's [03063] house [01004] shall be brought forth [03318] to the king [04428] of Babylon's [0894] princes [08269], and those women shall say [0559], Thy friends [0582] [07965] have set thee on [05496], and have prevailed [03201] against thee: thy feet [07272] are sunk [02883] in the mire [01206], and they are turned away [05472] back [0268].
21 But if thou refuse [03986] to go forth [03318], this is the word [01697] that the LORD [03068] hath shewed [07200] me:
20 But Jeremiah [03414] said [0559], They shall not deliver [05414] thee. Obey [08085], I beseech thee, the voice [06963] of the LORD [03068], which I speak [01696] unto thee: so it shall be well [03190] unto thee, and thy soul [05315] shall live [02421].
4 Then said [0559] Saul [07586] to his armourbearer [05375] [03627], Draw [08025] thy sword [02719], and thrust [01856] me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised [06189] come [0935] and abuse [05953] me. But his armourbearer [05375] [03627] would [014] not; for he was sore [03966] afraid [03372]. So Saul [07586] took [03947] a sword [02719], and fell [05307] upon it.
29 And Balaam [01109] said [0559] unto the ass [0860], Because thou hast mocked [05953] me: I would [03863] there were [03426] a sword [02719] in mine hand [03027], for now would I kill [02026] thee.
13 And when he was in the gate [08179] of Benjamin [01144], a captain [01167] of the ward [06488] was there, whose name [08034] was Irijah [03376], the son [01121] of Shelemiah [08018], the son [01121] of Hananiah [02608]; and he took [08610] Jeremiah [03414] the prophet [05030], saying [0559], Thou fallest away [05307] to the Chaldeans [03778].
