16 Now therefore send [07971] quickly [04120], and tell [05046] David [01732], saying [0559], Lodge [03885] not this night [03915] in the plains [06160] [05679] of the wilderness [04057], but speedily [05674] pass over [05674]; lest the king [04428] be swallowed up [01104], and all the people [05971] that are with him.
20 And the old [02205] man [0376] said [0559], Peace [07965] be with thee; howsoever [07535] let all thy wants [04270] lie upon me; only lodge [03885] not in the street [07339].
18 Whosoever [0376] he be that doth rebel [04784] against thy commandment [06310], and will not hearken [08085] unto thy words [01697] in all that thou commandest [06680] him, he shall be put to death [04191]: only be strong [02388] and of a good courage [0553].
1 Woe [01945] to thee that spoilest [07703], and thou wast not spoiled [07703]; and dealest treacherously [0898], and they dealt not treacherously [0898] with thee! when thou shalt cease [08552] to spoil [07703], thou shalt be spoiled [07703]; and when thou shalt make an end [05239] to deal treacherously [0898], they shall deal treacherously [0898] with thee.
17 The seed [06507] is rotten [05685] under their clods [04053], the garners [0214] are laid desolate [08074], the barns [04460] are broken down [02040]; for the corn [01715] is withered [03001].
18 He will not suffer [05414] me to take [07725] my breath [07307], but filleth [07646] me with bitterness [04472].
2 Are there not mockers [02049] with me? and doth not mine eye [05869] continue [03885] in their provocation [04784]?
5 But [0199] put forth [07971] thine hand [03027] now, and touch [05060] his bone [06106] and his flesh [01320], and he will curse [01288] thee to thy face [06440].
36 Surely I would take [05375] it upon my shoulder [07926], and bind [06029] it as a crown [05850] to me.
20 Whereas [0518] our substance [07009] is not cut down [03582], but the remnant [03499] of them the fire [0784] consumeth [0398].
25 Did not I weep [01058] for him that was in trouble [07186] [03117]? was not my soul [05315] grieved [05701] for the poor [034]?
7 Behold, my terror [0367] shall not make thee afraid [01204], neither shall my hand [0405] be heavy [03513] upon thee.
10 Which say [0559] to the seers [07200], See [07200] not; and to the prophets [02374], Prophesy [02372] not unto us right things [05229], speak [01696] unto us smooth things [02513], prophesy [02372] deceits [04123]:
27 And it came to pass at noon [06672], that Elijah [0452] mocked [02048] them, and said [0559], Cry [07121] aloud [01419] [06963]: for he is a god [0430]; either he is talking [07879], or he is pursuing [07873], or he is in a journey [01870], or peradventure [0194] he sleepeth [03463], and must be awaked [03364].
9 Is it good [02895] that he should search you out [02713]? or as one man [0582] mocketh [02048] another, do ye so mock [02048] him?
1 My breath [07307] is corrupt [02254], my days [03117] are extinct [02193], the graves [06913] are ready for me.
1 My breath [07307] is corrupt [02254], my days [03117] are extinct [02193], the graves [06913] are ready for me.
1 My breath [07307] is corrupt [02254], my days [03117] are extinct [02193], the graves [06913] are ready for me.
17 My breath [07307] is strange [02114] to my wife [0802], though I intreated [02589] for the children's [01121] sake of mine own body [0990].
15 So that my soul [05315] chooseth [0977] strangling [04267], and death [04194] rather than my life [06106].
27 And it shall come to pass in that day [03117], that his burden [05448] shall be taken away [05493] from off thy shoulder [07926], and his yoke [05923] from off thy neck [06677], and the yoke [05923] shall be destroyed [02254] because [06440] of the anointing [08081].
3 Lay down [07760] now, put me in a surety [06148] with thee; who is he that will strike [08628] hands [03027] with me?
2 Are there not mockers [02049] with me? and doth not mine eye [05869] continue [03885] in their provocation [04784]?
1 My breath [07307] is corrupt [02254], my days [03117] are extinct [02193], the graves [06913] are ready for me.
19 Also now, behold, my witness [05707] is in heaven [08064], and my record [07717] is on high [04791].
20 My friends [07453] scorn [03887] me: but mine eye [05869] poureth out [01811] tears unto God [0433].
21 O that one might plead [03198] for a man [01397] with God [0433], as a man [0120] pleadeth for his neighbour [01121] [07453]!
22 When a few [04557] years [08141] are come [0857], then I shall go [01980] the way [0734] whence I shall not return [07725].
1 My breath [07307] is corrupt [02254], my days [03117] are extinct [02193], the graves [06913] are ready for me.
21 And why dost thou not pardon [05375] my transgression [06588], and take away [05674] mine iniquity [05771]? for now shall I sleep [07901] in the dust [06083]; and thou shalt seek me in the morning [07836], but I shall not be.
20 Are not my days [03117] few [04592]? cease [02308] [02308] then, and let me alone [07896] [07896], that I may take comfort [01082] a little [04592],
22 When a few [04557] years [08141] are come [0857], then I shall go [01980] the way [0734] whence I shall not return [07725].
16 They shall go down [03381] to the bars [0905] of the pit [07585], when our rest [05183] together [03162] is in the dust [06083].
