Pr 24:11 Basic English Be the saviour of those who are given up to death, and do not keep back help from those who are slipping to destruction.
  King James If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

ready--literally, "bowing down"

to be slain--that is, unjustly. God's retributive justice cannot be avoided by professed ignorance.
