Mr 13:7 King James And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled--(See on Mar 13:13, and compare Isa 8:11-14).

for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet--In Luke (Luk 21:9), "the end is not by and by," or "immediately." Worse must come before all is over.

9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
11 For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
