Ec 2:11 Strong Concordance Then I looked [06437] on all the works [04639] that my hands [03027] had wrought [06213], and on the labour [05999] that I had laboured [05998] to do [06213]: and, behold, all was vanity [01892] and vexation [07469] of spirit [07307], and there was no profit [03504] under the sun [08121].
  King James Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

But all these I felt were only "vanity," and of "no profit" as to the chief good. "Wisdom" (worldly common sense, sagacity), which still "remained with me" (Ecc 2:9), showed me that these could not give solid happiness.
