Ge 25:24 | C D S T | And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. |
Ge 25:25 | C D S T K | And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. |
Ge 25:26 | C D S T | And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them. |
Ge 25:27 | C D S T K | And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. |
Ge 25:28 | C D S T K | And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob. |
Ge 25:29 | C D S T K | And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: |
Ge 25:30 | C D S T | And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. |
Ge 25:31 | C D S T K | And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. |
Ge 25:32 | C D S T K | And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? |
Ge 25:33 | C D S T | And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. |
Ge 25:34 | C D S T | Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. |

Ge 27:35 | C D S T | And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. |
Ge 27:36 | C D S T | And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? |
Ge 27:37 | C D S T | And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? |
Ge 27:38 | C D S T K | And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. |
Ge 27:39 | C D S T K | And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; |
Ge 27:40 | C D S T | And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. |
Ge 27:41 | C D S T K | And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. |

Ge 32:4 | C D S T K | And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now: |
Ge 32:5 | C D S T | And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find grace in thy sight. |
Ge 32:6 | C D S T K | And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him. |

Nu 20:14 | C D S T K | And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us: |
Nu 20:15 | C D S T | How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers: |
Nu 20:16 | C D S T K | And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border: |
Nu 20:17 | C D S T K | Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders. |
Nu 20:18 | C D S T | And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword. |
Nu 20:19 | C D S T K | And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet. |
Nu 20:20 | C D S T K | And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand. |
Nu 20:21 | C D S T K | Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him. |
