That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers : so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time [03118]: for which cause was this city destroyed.

And I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time [03118] hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days [03118], save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
