Da 1:8 King James But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Da 10:11 C D T R K And he said unto me, O Daniel [01840], a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright : for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
Da 10:12 C D T R K Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel [01840]: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
Da 12:4 C D T R K But thou, O Daniel [01840], shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end : many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Da 12:5 C D T R K Then I Daniel [01840] looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
Da 12:9 C D T R K And he said, Go thy way, Daniel [01840]: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
