Ge 1:8 Young's Literal And God calleth to the expanse `Heavens;' and there is an evening, and there is a morning -- day second.
  King James And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

That is, the expanse above, the "heaven" of the clouds. (Gen 7:11); (Gen 8:2).
