Verse         Translation Text
Mt 19:12 Strong Concordance For [1063] there are [1526] some eunuchs [2135], which [3748] were so [3779] born [1080] from [1537] their mother's [3384] womb [2836]: and [2532] there are [1526] some eunuchs [2135], which [3748] were made eunuchs [2134] of [5259] men [444]: and [2532] there be [1526] eunuchs [2135], which [3748] have made [2134] themselves [1438] eunuchs [2134] for [1223] the kingdom [932] of heaven's sake [3772]. He that is able [1410] to receive [5562] it, let him receive [5562] it.
King James For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

A Commentary, Critical, Practical, and Explanatory on the Old and New Testaments, by Robert Jamieson, A.R. Fausset and David Brown [1882]
For there are some eunuchs which were so born from their mother's womb--persons constitutionally either incapable of or indisposed to marriage.

and there are some eunuchs which were made eunuchs of men--persons rendered incapable by others.

and there be eunuchs which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake--persons who, to do God's work better, deliberately choose this state. Such was Paul (Co1 7:7).

He that is able to receive it, let him receive it--"He who feels this to be his proper vocation, let him embrace it"; which, of course, is as much as to say--"he only." Thus, all are left free in this matter.

2 And [2532] saying [3004], Repent ye [3340]: for [1063] the kingdom [932] of heaven [3772] is at hand [1448].
