King James The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

A Commentary, Critical, Practical, and Explanatory on the Old and New Testaments, by Robert Jamieson, A.R. Fausset and David Brown [1882]
There is not a man . . . that can show--God makes the heathen out of their own mouth, condemn their impotent pretensions to supernatural knowledge, in order to bring out in brighter contrast His power to reveal secrets to His servants, though but "men upon the earth" (compare Dan 2:22-23).

therefore, &c.--that is, If such things could be done by men, other absolute princes would have required them from their magicians; as they have not, it is proof such things cannot be done and cannot be reasonably asked from us.

22 He revealeth [01541] the deep [05994] and secret things [05642]: he knoweth [03046] what [04101] is in the darkness [02816], and the light [05094] dwelleth [08271] with him [05974].
23 I [0576] thank [03029] thee, and praise [07624] thee, O thou God [0426] of my fathers [02], who hast given [03052] me wisdom [02452] and might [01370], and hast made known [03046] unto me now [03705] what we desired [01156] of thee [04481]: for thou hast now made known [03046] unto us the king's [04430] matter [04406].
10 And God [0430] called [07121] the dry [03004] land Earth [0776]; and the gathering together [04723] of the waters [04325] called [07121] he Seas [03220]: and God [0430] saw [07200] that it was good [02896].
2 Then the king [04428] commanded [0559] to call [07121] the magicians [02748], and the astrologers [0825], and the sorcerers [03784], and the Chaldeans [03778], for to shew [05046] the king [04428] his dreams [02472]. So they came [0935] and stood [05975] before [06440] the king [04428].
