The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD. |

Praise the Lord ... - The customary formula of thanksgiving in many of the later Psalms, and from its occurrence in Ch2 5:13; Ch2 7:3, Ch2 7:6 ff probably a regular part of the liturgical service of the temple.
Shall say ... shall bring the sacrifice of praise - Or, say ... as they bring praise, i. e., a thank-offering (see the marginal reference) into the house of the Lord

17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
