Isa 65:2 King James I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

spread out . . . hands--inviting them earnestly (Pro 1:24).

all . . . day--continually, late and early (Jer 7:13).

rebellious people--Israel, whose rebellion was the occasion of God's turning to the Gentiles (Rom 11:11-12, Rom 11:15).

way . . . not good--that is, the very reverse of good, very bad (Eze 36:31).

31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
